Repaint Questions, Tips, and Instruction

Airborne Kustomz RV7

Postby Ron Attwood » Sat Dec 31, 2011 12:56 am

N200PF:This aircraft was built by Peter J Fruehling in 2010 and painted by Airborne Kustomz of Giddings TX.

I found it whilst looking for RV7 videos and was mightily impressed. So impressed it prompted me to do my first ever repaint!

Not too keen on the music though!

I didn't know you were a painter. We need to find you some more work.

 Aw shucks.

First aircraft, but I used to do cars for Live For Speed, rFactor and iRacing.

Is there a quicker, cleaner way of reloading/previewing edits? FSX got the arse about all the coming and going and I got quite a few terse 'Can't load' messages then FSX closed without so much as a by your leave!

OK I'll gladly give you all the pics you need and I really like what you did with N200PF and I would like you to use that same design on these please.

Aaaaah, so we've got a racer here...! Very OT (sorry) but which racesim do you prefer...? I thought about getting a real sim for racing once, but couldn't decide which one to get. Besides, I already sucked at the Simbin racers, so... maybe it's all to much for me...

iRacing is good from a point of view of properly organised race and 'career' aspect as well as good physics and support. The drawback is the subscription and having to buy tracks and cars you'll never own! (no single player) netKarPRO is very good in an Italian way. Better in my opinion than iRacing as far as reality goes. Live For Speed is good but populated by 12 year olds! Not that there's anything wrong with 12 year olds as long as they've been slowly cooked, preferably in a nice red wine sauce. :)
I was never fast enough to shine at racing, but there's generally a few of ones own ability to make things interesting.

Hey Guys!

WOW! What a beautiful repaint!
I'm in contact with the owner of N200PF and send him the links to the pictures. I'll let you know what he said to the repaint.

Best regards
Simon
