RV-7A Goldfinger

Sorry I haven't been doing much RV-7 painting lately, I was distracted by a certain Accusim P-51 that I just had to do a custom scheme for :)

I was inspired to enlist our young lady pilot in Pussy Galore's Flying Circus from the James Bond movie 'Goldfinger'. ;) I adapted a generic 1960s Piper Cherokee scheme to the 7A and added the Flying Circus logo. I also modified the pilots outfit to match the flight suits from the movie. This was tricky without having a layered pilot texture to go by but it was doable. The shoulder epaulets were too tricky to match so I just put to gold diamonds there instead.

Good work. Love the uniform. There's a line from Goldfinger that, if it's not already, should go into the all time great film lines. Bond is strapped to a fiendish laser machine and as the laser creeps inexorably towards his crutch he says to Goldfinger "You exschpect me to talk Goldfinger?" To which Auric replies "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" Muhaha :D

NB. exschpect = expect, with a Sean Connery accent

A good and funny idea. This red and white Goldfinger theme suits it well.
The girl looks very nice in her new black costume.
