Landing lights flashing

Postby Nkurun » Sat Mar 17, 2012 10:13 pm

Hi

The landing lights flash on and off in both DX9 and DX10 configuration in my installation. Are they meant to do that or can they be set to be on continuously, which would be more useful when landing in the dark.

Best wishes,

Robert

Hi again,

I've discovered the WAG switch, which switches the landing lights on continuously, so no need to reply to my earlier post. Congratulations on a lovely plane!

Best wishes,

Robert.

No worries Robert :D As you know the wig-wag is just there to attract the attention of traffic. It's a pretty common home-built option these days. The wig-wag is on the "Logo-Lights" circuit, and FSX's keyboard shortcut "L" switches on all light circuits. So just keep that in mind as you switch on your lights. The 3D toggles and some of FSX's other shortcuts will activate the circuits separately. One of the benefits of attaching the wig-wag to the logo-lights circuit is this arrangement can be easily assigned to hardware switches - like joysticks and goFlight hardware.
