Most of the screenshots so far haven’t featured the tip-up canopy cabins (tip7 and tip7A), because they were behind and included some inaccuracies. So it’s nice to get them looking better.

There is still minor work here, but the tedious work is done. The textures can be adjusted in the interior paint-kit. So colors for cabin paint, panel, seats, powderCoats, and so on can be adjusted to suit your design (w. photoShop or similar). A versatile paint-kit takes longer than a one-off texture, but once it’s established it’s much easier to quickly make large and small modification to the look.

The tip canopy has a fun feature, suggested by JimP, prop thrust and airspeed affect it’s open position. So you can taxi with it open a few inches…if that’s your habit on hot days.

In the open position you can see behind the panel…

The curve of the glare shield and windscreen fairing needed to be smoothed with a few more points. The distinctive lightening holes received more detail too. In this picture the bulkhead behind the panel doesn’t include its rivet, seam, and cutout details. That work is already done, but I accidentally hid it when exporting the texture.

The yellow-zinc plated nuts that attach the canopy plexi got a little work…they did look like bolts. The canopy frame looks stock to me

The lighting in the foot well area is a little brighter…it looks in shadow but all the details are clearly visible. The brackets that hold the main gear (7A) are just visible in front of the seats.

So the panel color is adjustable. This one is two-tone – a bit like a Cessna 172. The gauge bezels will get a quick adjustment in brightness, contrast, and specular.

Still a few squawks to address but it’s a serviceable flyer. I’m crossing off the last of the phase-1 flights.

There's somethings about lightening holes - they make anything look cool
As you're likely aware I can’t give a definitive release date yet. I’m about two weeks behind where I wanted to be today. So I’m still adjusting the schedule. It’s important that the project is released as soon as possible, because adding time does put me out of pocket. So rest assured any work I’m doing now is required work. That work still needs to be done to the highest practical standard. So if something takes a few days to get right it’s time well spent. I appreciate how frustrating waiting can be, still the message I’m getting from everyone is finish it right.
